T-ara has reportedly turned down a 100 million worth advertising offer from an alcoholic company and has emphasised that they will continue to refuse such offers in the future. On December 18th, Core Contents Media confirmed that they have turned down an offer and refused to appear in an alcoholic advert.
It was revealed that aside from the youngest member Ahreum, the rest of the members are eligible enough to appear in such ad, but decided that promoting an alcoholic beverage affects their influence to their young supporters. T-ara and their agency believe that such advertising campaign could create a huge impact on their young fans and the drinking culture that it promotes.
In the end, Core Contents Media emphasised that they will continue to decline advertising offers from alcoholic companies.
