Today, YG published his next “From YG”-notice on YG Entertainment’s official blog “YG Life” regarding the comeback of Big Bang’s Taeyang. According to him, the talented and soulful RnB singer will release his long awaited second full-length solo album this upcoming September.
As Taeyang himself is in charge of every step regarding the production of his new album for the first time, it is no surprise that the whole process required a lot of time. Fans were already expecting the album to be released last year, however, the singer decided to take on more time to be able to assure a completely satisfying, high-quality product.
Taeyang’s new solo album, which is yet to be named, will consist of 10 tracks, making it a full-length, regular album. For his new songs, the talented singer worked together not only with YG Entertainment’s main producers, but also with world-renowned songwriters from the United States.
The new release will mark Taeyang’s solo comeback after three years since his first full-length solo album “Solar”.
